Who we are. We are a tobacco products importer and wholesaler, which has its retail outlet located in Central London and has been approved as a Gold Medal Habanos Specialist. To make your shopping safer, our On-Line Store is hosted by totally SECURE SERVER. We get our Cuban and most of the Dominican cigars only from Hunters & Frankau - exclusive Havanas importer in UK and all Havanas bear an EMS stamp - the sign of Excellence in Cuban cigars.
Conditions of Delivery Due to the local regulations on cigars import in certain countries, we would like to discuss the conditions of delivery prior to the dispatch of goods to some countries. All goods are delivered within 24 hours of receipt of order in main land UK.
All orders outside UK are shipped within 24 hrs and delivered within 3-10 days.
We will advise if any delay can be expected. Royal Mail dispatches overseas orders.
All International AirMail and Roayl Mail Special deliveries apart from deliveries to USA are fully insured, please do not sign for delivery before you checked condition of delivered goods.
On request, we can deliver your order by DHL or similar. Any extra costs will be agreed with you prior to shipping.
Money Back Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with the condition of the cigars (ex: craftsmanship, flavor), and you have not smoked more than 2 (of a box of 25 or more), then we will accept the return and issue you a full credit, minus freight charges, if you notify us within 30 days.
This credit can be used for an exchange or a refund. If you have smoked more than 2, then we will only issue a pro-rated credit, per stick. Returns for cigars will only be accepted with original cellophane sleeves, tubes, and other "individual" packaging (such as cedar strips, coffins, etc..) still intact.
All credits for cigars that were sold in packages of less than 25 cigars will be issued on a per-cigar basis when returned to us.
Type of Payment we accept. We accept Visa, Master, American Express and Diners Club cards.
Ordering Information. Q1. What does discount coupon information and coupon code mean?
A1. Discount Coupon Information is either numeric or text value to be entered into this field, if you have registered with Maxibond Cigars and received our complementary 10% discount coupon or received a promotional discount coupon code as a Registered User. If you skipped registration, leave this field empty.
Q2. What is a card security code or card verification code (CVC)?
A2. Card Security Code or Card Verification Code is the three last digits on the back of your Visa or Master card along the signature strip (follow the link to see full info) or four digits on the right side of the front of your American Express Card This information is required to do the "Name & Address" verification.
Q3. What is the "Order Status"?
A3. Enter "Ordered" in this field.
Q4. How do I get a tracking number?
A4. You can assign your own tracking number here and check the status of your order later by clicking on "Order Tracker" button (e.g. "Re-ordered from supplier" or "Shipped") or we'd enter your shipment reference number in this field after shipping.
Site Security. Our payment gateway on our website uses industry standard SSL encryption (128bit) and our payment provider uses 2048 encryption.
Shipping Terms. We ship worlwide including USA.
- Shipping Cost.
Depending on the number of items and weight, shipping cost is from £3.90 to £8.60 per parcel. Shipping cost for bulky accessories (e.g. Humidors) will be discussed with you prior to shipping.
- Taxes.
UK and EU customers are charged VAT/TVA.
For orders outside UK and EU, the recipient is fully responsible for the payment of any local taxes due in the country of receipt.
